The Holy Year Xacobeo 2021 was extended into 2022, making it fitting for Destino Santiago (2021-2022). We launched an innovative and highly groundbreaking proposal compared to what already existed in IVAO.
The figures from Destino Santiago 2021-22 are incredible, surpassing boundaries that the organisation itself had never imagined.
The year 2021 ended with 3,374 operations in Santiago de Compostela alone! To this, we must add the more than 3,800 from 2022, when in just three days, over 220 operations were recorded.
There is no doubt that this was the best event in which Air Nubeiro has participated, but we will improve these figures as soon as the next Holy Year returns.
We look forward to seeing you all in 2027, as the Pórtico de la Gloria in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela opens. At Air Nubeiro and the Consorcio Destino Santiago, we are working hard to bring out the best of Galicia in the world of virtual flight simulation.
