I have always wanted Air Nubeiro to be different from other virtual airlines, starting with its name. So, drawing from Galician mythology, we decided to use the term "nubeiro" (king of storms), which is also shared with the Asturian "nuberu." This has undoubtedly led to the creation of a brand with great meaning and a strong identity—one that can endure over time, evolve, and still remain true to its roots.
The early days were challenging, as expected, since we were only two people and had no programming knowledge. Because of this, we had to jump from platform to platform (FSAirlines, VAM, etc.).
From 2020 onwards, we were able to bring in more people, and thanks to the time we had available during the pandemic, we built a strong and well-established community. By the end of that year, we successfully registered as a virtual airline on IVAO.
That being said, we are always continuously updating, seeking the latest technology and the best comfort for our pilots—something that translates into ongoing work.
